This attractive little cottage is nestled along a quiet road tucked away in the heart of Weardale, in the village of Ireshopeburn.
Fellside is a restored stone cottage retaining original features. Arranged over three floors with a living room/kitchen on the ground floor, two single bedrooms, a small study and a bathroom on the first floor and a double bedroom on the second floor. This is a quirky cottage with some low beams and a curving staircase.
The cottage can sleep up to 4 people.This property is perfect for walkers and cyclists.
The cottage has a great little suntrap courtyard to the front and there is an outbuilding where you can securely store both Ski's and bicycles.

Fellside Cottage is located in the small village of Ireshopeburn. A short walk through the village will bring you to the Weardale museum where you can gain an insight into the history of the local area. The nearby village of St Johns Chapel has a co-op where you can source your daily requirements, there are also 2 cafes and 2 pubs one of which serves bar meals. Travelling down through the villages in Weardale each has a public house with most serving bar meals, also close by is the Langdon Beck Hotel in Teesdale also recommended for a bar meal. The small town of Stanhope is a 15 minute drive, where there is heated open-air swimming pool or a 20 minute drive west is Alston, Englands Highest market town, both towns have a selection of shops; butchers, bakery, chemist and gift shops.
The cottage is ideal for local walks along the river and cycling through the hillsides with scenic views of moorland and an abundance of wildlife. Fellside is just opposite to a beautiful little burn which runs below the property on the opposite side of the road.There is a public footpath that leads to it and on a warm day it’s a great place to splash your toes in the pool.
Local attractions include,Westgate Ski Slopes- http://www.skiweardale.com/ , Hamsterley Forrest , Killhope Lead Mining Museum, High Force Waterfall and The South Tyne Railway in Alston are to name but a few.
- On entering the village of Ireshopeburn, travel through until you come to a sharp bend.
- Exit the road on the bend, passing past the Village Hall on the left handside.
- Pass over a small bridge and you will find Fellside located on the right handside, numbered 4 Lanehill.
- Parking is available directly outside the cottage
