Parker's House is a beautiful 3 bedroom House nestled in the unspoilt countryside on the outskirts of Alston, Cumbria. On the ground floor you enter the property through the garden and into the porch. Here there is a seat and storage for coats and boots and a downstairs toilet. Head to the right and into the living room which boasts exposed stone, wooden beams and a log burning stove for those cooler nights. This spacious room overlooks the beautiful garden and surrounding countryside, has comfy sofas and TV (Freesat). The kitchen is off the lounge and is well equipped to cook and entertain, containing an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, washing machine and dining table.

Upstairs are 3 spacious bedroom, which sleeps 6 in 2 double and 1 twin. All rooms are neutral colours, lovingly furnished with oak furniture and tastefully finished with pictures and decoration. The bathroom consists of a toilet, basin and a large tiled shower.

Outside there is a beautiful enclosed garden and a fenced paddock area which overlooks the surrounding countryside. The stable houses secure storage for bicycles, a tumble dryer and in a separate section a kennel to allow your dogs to dry off before taking them into the house. There is on site, off road parking at the front of the property consisting of a space next to the house and additional parking opposite for at least 3 cars.

Local Information
Alston is the highest market town in England and boast good local amenities. It has many independent shops, eateries, cafes and pubs, including Saddlers Baker which makes fresh bread and baked goods from scratch, Alston House which serves delicious home cooked meals made using locally sourced produce and the Cane workshop which sells award winning Jams and Chutneys. From the outdoor clothing shop, where you can stock up on supplies to the fish and chip shop where you can grab a tasty treat, there is plenty to do in Alston.
The area is close to the borders of Durham, Northumberland and is a gateway into the Lake District making this an ideal base to get out and explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Killhope Lead Mining Museum, the South Tyne Railway and Yad Moss Ski Slope are some amazing local attraction to name just a few. For those who enjoy the outdoors, walking and cycling, the Pennine Way and Coast to Coast Route runs right through Alston. The rolling countryside with unspoiled panoramic views of moorland is home to an abundance of wildlife and some amazing natural beauties including Ashgill waterfall.

Directions
From our Alston Office proceed up the main street and turn left at the top heading towards Nenthead on the A689
Continue for just over half a mile and you will see a left turn to Lambsgate indicated on the black iron sign
Drive down the lane past the first house on the right (Lambsgate Farm) and the house is second on the left
There is a parking space next to the house and additional parking opposite for at least 3 cars
