What a marvellous stay!

Amazing location. Beautiful Interior. We had a wonderful, relaxing break with walks on the doorstep and all the great visitor attractions so handy. Beds were so comfy. Maybe add some nice throws for the sofas to get even more cosy. Thank you .

Great Cottage in a Beautiful Area

As others have said, the cottage feels more spacious than the photos suggest, but is also very comfortable and well-equipped, and with good wifi (essential for our teenagers!). The proximity to Hadrian’s Wall is a huge plus, along with some beautiful countryside on the doorstep. During the season of Covid-19, everything felt immaculately cleaned for our arrival and with plenty of provision for staying on top of cleaning during the week. We would also happily recommend a meal in the pub next door but one (no noise at all, in spite of closeness).

Fabulous Christmas Holiday

Booked a week for family of 6 over Christmas. Brilliant cottage, better than advertised. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and well furnished with everything you need. Kitchen well fitted and a nice warm cottage. Great pub 2 doors away with friendly staff and good local ales. Great location perfect for exploring local area and Hadrian's Wall, but just off the A69 so excellent and easy access to the cottage. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic place, great locality with a lovely Inn 2 doors down. Beautiful and cozy, clean house. A lot bigger than the pictures suggest as well!!

Can't wait to return

A lovely house in a lovely location. We were up for a family party. Really wish we had longer. Although in Northumberland, you are placed in easy reach of Carlisle and all the historical places around there and most of Hadrian's Wall. My Mum couldn't find fault which is praise indeed!!!!!! Recommend the food at the pub two doors up. Two meals in there which were fantastic, and friendly staff. The kitchen had everything that you would need for a self catering holiday. If really felt like a home from home. Can't wait to book up again.

Gorgeous Cottage

I visited Greenhead with my family and was very happy with the area - lots of history and things to do with children. The accommodation was gorgeous and well decorated. The open plan downstairs was lovely, as well as luxurious bedrooms. The pub next door was really nice and it has a tea rooms opposite too. Would definitely recommend - such good value!

Stayed for a week and had an awesome time. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Perfectly situated right on Hadrian's wall route, so ideal for walking and exploring Northumberland and also Cumbria. Great friendly pub 2 doors away with excellent and good value food. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.
