Fantastic stay

(I’m a private booker) I went to lizzys barn with my daughter. Cousin and 4 granddaughters. Had a fantastic time. Everything you could want and more. Highly recommend a stay here. We are definitely going back next year ( maybe this year if I can convince hubby) there is so much to see and do around the area. Ideally situated for walks. Killhope wheel isn’t far and is worth a trip too. Beautiful scenery from every window in the barn. 😍

This place was amazing. A new year get away with friends and a dog, couldn't have wished for anything more. Absolutely stunning. No car needed if you enjoy walking, so many places to explore. I imagine this barn conversion will have back to back bookings once word gets about, amazing place to be and lovely owner thanks for making our stay delightful.

Absolutely amazing accommodation, gorgeous setting and has everything you could need. The owner lives in the adjacent property and it's so friendly and welcoming which, although we didn't need it, is handy if there were to be any problems. We will definitely stay here again. Joanne

Incredible Holiday & Fantastic Host

The Old Barn is incredible, a beautiful conversion finished to a very high standard in the most idillic location on a farm. The photos here do not do it justice. The Barn is much bigger than we anticipated and bedrooms spacious with comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and everywhere is beautifully furnished and dressed, the showers are are fantastic (water pressure issues mentioned in the previous review were rectified, the owner had kindly contacted us directly to inform us prior to our arrival). The owner was welcoming and very thoughtful, a pleasure to meet. Our family of 6 adults, an infant and dog could not have wanted more and didn’t want to leave. Waking up to see rabbits in the fields and the farm animals out in the yard was perfect, with plenty of space to run free and walks to the nearby river for the dog. This is the perfect countryside escape, Northumberland attractions are very accessible through beautiful scenery but also Hole House is a perfect location to hide away in and relax.

Luxury in a lovely location

We were a family group of six adults and two young children and this property could not have been any more appropriate for us. It is spacious with luxury decor and facilities throughout. Everything is new, clean and in very good condition. There are toys, games and books for children in the house as well as outdoor playthings for young children. It is a quiet location with an outdoor eating area that has lovely views. Our only minor issue was that the water pressure is sometimes poor upstairs, probably when water is being drawn elsewhere.
