Alston Front Street

Work to reinstate the cobbles (setts) to a 30-metre section of Front Street in Alston (opposite the Market Cross) will commence from Monday 2 August.

The work will require a full road closure with traffic needing to be diverted via the B6294 'Blagill Loop' road. There is still parking available above the CO-OP (above the road closure) as well as on street parking below the road closure. Otherwise you will find parking at Fair Hill Park. (see map for more information).

The works are expected to be completed by the end of November 2021.

If you booked via a 3rd party agency we must follow their cancellation policy however we can offer alternative holiday dates
If you are unsure please contact us before making a booking.

You do not need to contact us if your booking is not affected at the moment, we will continue to follow current government advice and update guests on a rolling basis if further bookings are affected.
